Well it was chinese new year and i guess still is,let me just sum up my Chinese New Year

-collect red packets
-watched few movies
-poker is the thing for the season
-been to a fishing village (i'll post some pics soon)
-that's pretty much all doesnt sound much but seriously its not bad

Khalil Fong 方大同 is a soul singer,song writer based in Hong Kong.I always condemn chinese music for our lack of style,theres always a sense of plagiarism whenever we tryna do something thats new thats hip,and I do think that Chinese really cant do Hip-Hop and RnB our beats are always too over the top and everything is always too flashy ive no idea why.But kudos to Khalil Fong a good soul singer with his own style,and he makes music that are very smooth.Ones that you would ride with your girl in a covertible car,play it on the radio,sing along and tryna serenade ur girl with.Great artist,and his lyrics are very smart too.

Kings Of Leon-Sex On Fire

Kings of Leon,alternative rock band.Their album was among one of the best reviewed albums of 2008,this song was also featured in gossip girls season 2 episode 11 i think.And yes I do watch gossip girls but only with my girlfriend lol good thing that theyve good soundtrack

Movies:All About Women

Went to watch this movie because my girlfriend wanted to and also Zhou Xun is in it so I wouldnt mind but i certainly didnt expect much from it.As soon as I saw the director's name on the screen though I knew this is more about an ordinary movie about 3women,it's directed by acclaimed director Tsui Hark and how the movie was plotted out personally i think it's just brilliant,it started frm stories bout 3 women separately n slowly until they all meet each other and each of em find love in very different ways the whole process of it is just directed in a really good way,the flow of the movie and also the story line is really top quality stuff.The poster may look like a chick flick and well yea maybe it is a chick flick but it's a well directed chick flick,best i've ever watched movies of all languages included.

Another thing about the movie is one of the lead Kitty Zhang is one good looking chinese woman,and of course Zhou Xun too but not so in this movie.I guess there are some really pretty women in China.

Notorious B.I.G-Hypnotize

Im not so hip-hop anymore nowadays,but I always put my itunes on shuffle mode and this song came up and i find it dope still,old school hip hop will always be dope.This is hip-hop classic,sorry soulja boy tell em n flo rida

A photographer who I love which is very near frm home,frm Indonesia.Like her pictures its always well captured with a mood and a very good touch of feminism beauty.Maybe it has to due to shes a female,i guess female photographers shoot with a different perspective frm male,there's always a sense of softness in their photos no matter how exposing the models are.Male photographer would more likely to shoot models as a sexual objects than females ive to admit that so sometimes I really enjoy seeing pictures taken frm a female's perspective.It's nice to see the beauty of feminism,instead of just drool over girls in for example maxim mags because they're the object of sexual desires

Golden Globes Award

Golden globes was yday,its an award bout for film makers n actors n to be honest i duno wad isit about cause its always bout the oscars.

Good news for every1 is that Heath Ledger won best supporting actor for his role as the joker in dark knight im sure everyone is glad that he won,R.I.P best joker ever.Surprised that Sean Penn didnt win best actor for his role in Milk though but i cant judge cause i havent watched most of the movies nominated.

One movie i sure want to watch though is "Vicky Cristina Barcelona",not entirely because of the good reviews i heard there's a steamy scene involving both Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson.Im not a big fan of Scarlett Johansson but am a big fan of that face of Penelope Cruz,put em both 2gether who would complain.Woody Allen is a brilliant director for this.

What's the fuss ?

I really dont get it,why do people have to make so much fuss out of nothing.Is there so hard with accepting life as it is,isit always necessary to ask for more?Sometimes its good to feel fortunate even when life doesnt give u enough because life is never enough.Just get through everything you like or dont like with a smile and it's going to be over and there's no point getting all crazy emotional or moodiness and all attitude life's not perfect but its not supposed to be as bad as u think it is,so stop the complaining stop the whining just live your life with a positive mindset.

2008-2009

Im not exactly up to date but its a new year now,infact its almost 5days have passed and i just wanna reflect back on 2008 for the very last time.2008 a year of economy crisis,rise n fall of oil price,opposite parties in Malaysia had a good year,wonderful success story of the 1st ever black president of America of course Obama and for now i cant think of anything more bout 2008 to cramp into this little post and I think most people would say 2008 isnt a good year because of the economical crisis but personally it wasnt that bad for me i mean i dont take into account how much the crisis affects my father's business but so far no cut on allowance for me.I found myself a girlfriend which I spent like more than 3quarters of this year with and finding a partner is never a bad thing,only bad thing is that I seem to communicate alot less with my frens compared to like a year ago,what was a band of brothers i don't know how's everything now sometimes I think about it I do get abit sentimental I mean ive known n spent my time with my guys since i was 15?Had lots of laugh n good times but life can't be perfect can it?You gain some,you loose some,and a very good fren of mine Allen left to Switzerland its good for him never good for me to loose a fren but still im happy for him,Ching Yu's in KL but i still c him like once every 3months or so,so yea theres only so much everything can stay the same as time passes afterall.

I don't want to elaborate too much so I welcome 2009 with open hands,I dont want to make any new years resolutions cause as pathetic as I am Im not the one that keeps them.Just wanna be a better man by the end of the year and get the results required to further my education in most probably US.Happy New Year if anyone's reading lol I know I don't have a popular blog
