The Flaming Lips (an American rock band.The band is known for their lush, multi-layered, psychedelic arrangements, spacey lyrics and bizarre song and album titles) released a new album this week and I really love the cover art I don't really know why probably its the colour.The album has garnered great reviews from the critics especially a 9.0 from Pitchfork,for me though I'm still trying to digest properly because its a Double album and it's kind of long but Flaming Lips is still The Flaming Lips they always have these very special psychedelic spacey and acid rock kind of sound that I don't hear from any other band.A very unique band no doubt.
